To link bank verification number (bvn) to access bank account, you can do that based on the three methods, which are through internet banking, sms and bvn linking portal.

To link your bvn to your access bank account, Simply text BVN, your account number and BVN number to 20121.

For example, BVN 06812345678 22498765432 to 20121. Your account immediately will be linked to your bank verification number.

To do that, login to your Internet Banking page, select the Service Requests Menu >> select Initiate Service Request and select Link BVN.

Through Internet Banking: Log on to Internet Banking account, select BVN Linker from the left-hand panel.

On that page click on New Request
From the drop down menu, insert your Bank Verification Number.

Select the Nigerian Bank where your BVN was Issued and answer your Secret Question and continue.

And finally your gtbank account will be linked to your bvn.

Through Gtbank ATM: Pease you have to do this on gtbank atm, else it won’t work.

So locate any gtbank atm around you, insert GTBank ATM Card and select BVN Link on the transaction menu screen.

Enter your 11-Digit BVN and tap to confirm your BVN details and finally click on the submit button to submit your BVN.

Through SMS: This is another method which Guaranty Trust Bank made to their customers recently. To link your BVN via SMS, simply text your BVN details to 08076665555.

E.g. BVN <01234567890> to 08076665555.

Through *737# ussd code: This is the last option on the list, the *737# ussd code. To link your BVN via 737 BVN linker, simply dial *737*20*BVN.

3. How to link bvn to UBA account

To do that, visit the Page or website, enter your UBA 10 digit account number in the space provided on the site.

Click the Verify button to verify the account number, and enter your 11 digit BVN number.

Finally click on the submit to link your BVN number.

Through Prepaid card: To link your bvn to your uba account, go through this Page or website, after that Enter your Prepaid Client ID as it appears on right bottom corner of the back side of your prepaid card.

Then click Verify button to verify the Client ID, enter your 11 digit BVN number.

4. FCMB Bank

Next is to type in your BVN, the bank where you registered and answer a security question and click on the ‘link BVN’ tab to subm it.

Through Email Addresse: Fcmb made a provision for their customers to link their bvn by sending a mail them.

Fill in everything and click on proceed.

If you got everything correct, you will see a message stating that you have successfully linked your account.

Through Ussd code: This method is so easy and doesn’t require internet connection like the above.

You’ve to simply dial *945*BVN#. You’ll see a menu which you need to complete, and then they include your name, date of birth and bank verification number.

You’ve to finalize everything using your wema bank ussd code pin number, and that’s it.

6. Fidelity Bank
